D. Y. is a 35 year-old male referred by his dermatologist, Dr. Jeff Ashley, with a one week history of shingles along the right mid-chest wall. The patient was not responding well to anti-viral agents and oral steroids. Dr. Ashley was becoming concerned about the patient’s pain level and about the possibility of post-herpetic neuralgia.
