Fluoroscopy

There is an old saying in pain management circles that you can’t hit what you can’t see. With the Philips BV Pulsera we can see and hit very small targets for more effective and more specific pain therapy.

The heart of any modern interventional pain management practice is fluoroscopic imagining. At Schlesinger Pain Centers we use a state of the art Philips BV Pulsera fluoroscope with a 12 inch image intensifier. This machine is equipped with digital imaging circuitry, which allows us to resolves structures as small as half a millimeter in diameter.  This permits more accurate placement of the needles and better control of your acute and chronic pain.  Our unit has multiple exposure settings to help us reduce the dose of radiation you will be exposed to. It also has the capability to record live action images in digital subtraction mode to increase safety on transforamenal injections.
